Are They Real Roses?

Yes, our roses are 100% real. They are carefully hand-selected at peak bloom and undergo an advanced preservation process that maintains their natural beauty, softness, and vibrancy for a year or more—no water and minimal maintenance is required.

How Do They Last One Year?

Our roses are grown on our farms in Cayambe, Ecuador, where they thrive in ideal conditions for rich color and full blooms. They undergo a state-of-the-art preservation process, where their natural moisture is replaced with a proprietary solution, allowing them to maintain their softness, vibrancy, and beauty for a year or more.

Do The Roses Smell?

Yes, our preserved roses have a natural scent that lasts for approximately three months. While the preservation process maintains their beauty for a year or more, the fragrance naturally fades over time.

How Do I Care For My Arrangement and Ensure It Lasts Up to One Year?

Our preserved roses require minimal care to maintain their beauty. To ensure they last up to a year or more:

  • Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
  • Avoid touching the petals frequently to prevent oil transfer.
  • Do not water or expose them to moisture.
  • Keep them in their original box or display them in an open space away from enclosed areas with excessive heat.
What Happens to My Arrangement After One Year?

While we state a one-year lifespan, many of our customers have enjoyed their arrangements for up to two or three years with proper care. However, after a year, the roses will gradually begin to wilt as the preservation process naturally wears off.

Can I Remove The Roses From The Box?

No, the roses should not be removed from the box. They are carefully arranged and secured to maintain their shape and longevity. Removing them may cause the petals to become fragile and compromise their preserved beauty.

Will They Get Damaged In Transit?

We use secure packaging to ensure your roses arrive safely and in perfect condition. If any damage occurs during transit, this is beyond our control, however If you receive a damaged arrangement, please send clear images to info@prairiesandpetals.com. Our team will assess the arrangement and work towards resolving the issue in the best possible way.

Do You Have a Storefront Location?

Yes, we have storefront locations at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, and CF Toronto Eaton Centre. We are also excited to announce that Sherway Gardens will be opening in the summer of 2025. Visit us in-store to experience our luxury floral collections in person.

What is The Return Policy?

Due to the delicate nature of our preserved roses, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. If your arrangement arrives damaged, please email info@prairiesandpetals.com with clear images, and our team will assess the issue to find a suitable resolution.
