Are Long Lasting Roses Real?
Yes. Every rose we use is a real rose, grown and harvested at the moment it reaches peak bloom. It then goes through a careful preservation process where a special plant safe solution gradually replaces the natural water inside the flower. The result is a rose that keeps its shape, colour and soft, velvety petals without needing water or sunlight.
How Long Do They Last?
With proper care, our roses last a year or more. Many of our customers tell us theirs still look beautiful well beyond that. Compare that with a fresh cut rose, which usually lasts five to seven days in a vase.
How to Care for Long Lasting Roses
The good news: they need almost nothing from you. Just follow a few simple rules.
- Never add water. Water will damage the petals. These roses are already fully hydrated by the preservation process.
- Keep them out of direct sunlight. Strong sun can fade the colour over time. A bright room is fine, just not a sunny windowsill.
- Avoid humidity and heat. Skip bathrooms, kitchens near the stove, and spots right above a heater or radiator.
- Handle the petals gently. Admire them with your eyes rather than your fingers, since repeated touching can bruise the petals.
- Dust them softly. Use a clean, soft makeup brush or the cool setting on a hair dryer held at a distance.
- Do not refrigerate them. Cold and condensation are not their friends.
Where to Display Them
